Higher Education in Action: Transforming Data into

The HEDW Board is soliciting proposals for the HEDW 2026 Virtual Conference, ‘Higher Education in Action: Transforming Data into Practical Impact'. 

This virtual conference is a one day, online event scheduled for October 8, 2026.  The event offers an excellent and affordable opportunity to engage a broader range of staff in the world of higher education data, serving as a valuable complement to the 2027 HEDW conference. 
 
We are seeking proposals for 12 dynamic sessions covering the following pillars: 

• Business, Finance, and Institutional Research (IR): Insights into data-informed decision-making for university operations, fiscal stewardship, and strategic planning
• Constituent Experience and Engagement: Using data to enhance the journeys of students, faculty, and staff, fostering deeper community connection. 
• Technology Innovation and Tooling: Cutting-edge approaches to coding efficiency, the practical implementation of AI/ML, and demystifying current industry buzzwords.

As a token of our appreciation, all accepted presenters will receive complimentary attendance to the conference.
