Higher Education Data Warehousing Conference 2012Hosted by The University of Texas at Austin, April 15-17, 2012 (held at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center-Austin, Texas)The HEDW Forum includes technical developers and administrators of data access and reporting systems, data custodians, institutional researchers,and consumers of data representing a variety of internal university audiences. The Annual Conference, sponsored by the Forum, is also open to this same restricted audience. This year the conference is being hosted by the University of Texas at Austin and held at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center, Austin, Texas. The registration fee will be waived for presenters and panel moderators (but not for co-presenters and panelists). Presenters will receive special instructions from the Forum 2012 committee regarding registration process. We are very pleased to offer two special Training Sessions entitled Training #1: Visual Data Analysis - Stephen Few Training #2: 1-day Agile DW/BI workshop - Ken Collier These sessions will be held all day Sunday, April 15, for a fee of $500 per session (includes continental breakfast and lunch). You may register for one of these training sessions using the online HEDW Forum registration form, and you need not attend the Forum to be eligible for the training. HEDW is pleased to offer a Vendor exhibition that will be open to all conference participants. This year, vendors will be available for the duration of the conference, including attendance at sessions. We're also planning a new vendor track to allow participants to attend sessions specifically designated as vendor presentations. The Forum registration fee is only $325 ($295 Early Bird rate until February 15) and includes the Sunday evening reception, the Vendor exhibition, two days of conference educational sessions, two breakfasts, two lunches, and mid-day snacks. For dinners, conference participants are encouraged to choose from among the many fine restaurants in the Austin area within walking distance of the hotel.
